This access point is equipped with an RS232 port and two RJ45 ports, and is powered via a 3-pin power connector, making it ideal for specialised industrial applications. In addition to Wi-Fi 4 capabilities, the DAP142 supports Wi-Fi mesh, Fast Roaming, and up to 50 simultaneous connections. With an integrated DIN rail bracket, durable aluminium casing, and plug-and-play functionality, this wireless access point provides simple installation and configuration at minimum effort.

Access Point Technology

The access point supports Wi-Fi 4 technology with Wi-Fi mesh and fast roaming capabilities, ensuring seamless and stable connections. The Wi-Fi mesh network consists of multiple interconnected devices that collectively create a unified wireless network across the entire coverage area.

It is powered using passive PoE, which simplifies installation and reduces the need for separate power cables. Passive PoE is a straightforward method of powering devices that uses an Ethernet cable to transmit both data and electrical power. The plug-and-play feature offers easy connection and configuration.
